老一辈农场人不畏艰难，在七八十年代成立文工队，编排古装戏和自编歌舞、说唱节目，在农闲和节假日进行演出，充分展现了一代代白茅岭人“艰苦奋斗，顽强拼搏，无私奉献，务实求新”的创业精神。

监狱组织“民警家属进监”活动，让民警家属走进监狱工作一线，了解民警日常工作环境，增进家属对监狱工作的理解与支持。这不仅搭建了监狱与民警家属沟通的桥梁，也进一步增强了民警的职业认同感和归属感

通过包饺子和写春联这些传统习俗，让民警在传承和延续中华民族的文化基因中感受到浓浓的年味。活动现场，包饺子区域热闹非凡，民警与家属一起动手包饺子；写春联区域人头攒动，书法爱好者们挥毫泼墨，一副副春联或苍劲有力，或飘逸洒脱。
